Beyond Good and Evil 2, said to be the upcoming sequel to the cult classic, hasn’t exactly gone smoothly. Some versions of it have been in development since at least 2008, although its first trailer was the only evidence of its existence until its 2017 re-release. In 2020, the game’s director, Michel Ancel, left the industry entirely, although in 2021 Ubisoft
Sarah Arellano, formerly snowstorm and willmade the announcement via her personal Twitter account, and it’s the most we’ve heard about the game in the last year.
“We’re delighted to welcome Sarah, one of the newest additions to Beyond Good and Evil 2,” a Ubisoft spokesperson told PC Gamer via email. “The development team is working hard to deliver on its commitment to the community.”
That’s not necessarily a huge surprise considering that it was recently officially announced that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development, but Ubisoft has apparently been underwhelming lately, and that’s where some of the surprises come in.
Last month, the developer and publisher canceled Ghost Recon: Battlefront, Splinter Cell VR, and two other yet-to-be-announced games. the most important is, Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier Has been pushed back to Ubisoft’s 2023 fiscal year, which has reportedly delayed the new Assassin’s Creed, which it said will star in Valhalla’s Bassim.
