Google is reportedly working on cross-device app synchronization in the Play Store. This is intended to simplify the use of multiple Android devices.
- Google apparently wants to improve the management of Android devices.
- If you use multiple devices, you should be able to synchronize apps more easily.
- A corresponding feature is to be integrated into the Play Store.
If you use multiple Android devices, you could soon benefit from a new feature. Google is said to be working on a feature that syncs apps across devices. It should be integrated into the Google Play Store. Above all, users who use tablets, smartwatches or smart TVs with Google TV in addition to an Android cell phone should benefit from this.
How 9to5Google reported, a corresponding screenshot by @AssembleDebug surfaced on Twitter in response to a tweet by Artem Russakovskii. This shows the new sync feature within the Google Play Store app.
There is a similar function under Android when setting up new hardware. Here the operating system offers to install already purchased or downloaded apps on a new device. However, if you skip this step, you have to manually search and download the programs and games in the Google Play Store. It is not known when and if Google will integrate the new feature into its Play Store app.
