Xiaomi released HyperOS in China back in October. Now the new user interface, together with Android 14, is also finding its way onto the first devices in Europe. Like in Android Help Forum
According to initial reports online, the update hardly brings any major visual changes. However, the power consumption in standby mode is said to have been significantly reduced and the system also runs a bit faster. Xiaomi had promised a slimmer and more efficient system at the presentation in October.
Personalize lock screen, new Control Center and more
The biggest innovation is the ability to extensively customize the design of the lock screen. The control center has also been revised. This now includes a music player widget.
