Biomutant was not overly successful when it was released in May 2021, but THQ Nordic still seems to believe in the open-world title. After dedicated versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will see another implementation in November 2023.
In May 2021, Biomutant, an open-world game by THQ Nordic and Experiment 101, was released, which had many good ideas installed, but only a few of them worked really well. Apparently, the studios continue to believe in their title, because it has now been announced that an implementation for the Nintendo Switch will be released on November 30, 2023.

This confirms rumors that have been floating around the web for some time. However, THQ Nordic still owes us concrete information on the resolution, frame rate and other features at the moment. Due to the graphically not overly complex presentation, Biomutant could run quite well on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
Although Biomutant was several years in development, the title fell short of fans’ and critics’ expectations. The open world is packed with characters and activities, but ultimately nothing really got the community excited about it. The wung fu combat system with its mixture of close and long-range combat was also appreciated for its variety, but according to fan feedback it played too dirty.
Biomutant upgrades for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S were last released on September 6, 2022, after the title was initially only released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. The versions for the current consoles scored with higher frame rates, better resolutions and support for the DualSense controller.
