The newest free game on the Epic Games Store is Bioshock: Collection.

The second of four freebies to be offered over the next few weeks is a celebratory gift to celebrate the second week of the Epic MEGA sale.

In BioShock: The Collection, you’ll travel through BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition, to Rapture and the city of Columbia.

In addition to the aforementioned games, the collection includes all single-player add-ons.

In BioShock Remastered, you’ll travel to the underwater city of Rapture, once a haven for society’s greatest minds. Unfortunately, due to Andrew Ryan’s megalomania, it morphed into a dystopian nightmare. Set in 1960, you play the protagonist Jack, whose plane crashes near Rapture, and he soon discovers that many of his enemies are obsessed with Adam, the genetic material used to empower Superman. You’ll also face clumsy big daddy as you try to find a way to escape and decide whether to save Adam scavenger known as the little sister.

The sequel, Bioshock 2 Remake, is also set in Rapture and takes place eight years after the events of Bioshock. In it, you’ll control an armored character named Subject Delta, who needs to find his sister Eleanor or he’ll die. In trying to find her, he comes into contact with the Splicers, the Armored Big Sister, and Lamb’s Rapture Family, founded by Eleanor’s mother.

Bioshock Infinite: The Complete Edition is the third game in the series. Set in 1912, Booker DeWitt is sent to the airborne city of Columbia to retrieve a young woman named Elizabeth, who has been held captive by her ability to form tears across the space-time continuum. After rescuing her, the pair became embroiled in a class war between the founders of ruling Colombia and rebels representing the city’s lower classes. DeWitt and Elizabeth are haunted throughout the game by her Guardian, a large mechanical bird-like creature named Songbird.

You have until June 2nd to download the collection, after which another game will replace it.

2K Games, publisher and IP holder of the BioShock series, announced in December 2019 that another game in the series was in development with the company’s new in-house studio, Cloud Chamber.
