Actually, the tactical equipment that players can find in Call of Duty: Warzone should only bring benefits in shooter battles. However, a player has now discovered a new, bizarre bug in which a collected item brings the opposite of an advantage.
Who is currently in the Battle Royale Heartbeat sensor finds and uses it to track down his enemies bite the grass without warning.
Nasty mistake leads to premature death
Usually the heartbeat sensor is an extremely useful tool because it helps you locate hidden enemies. At the moment you should rather refrain from using the gadget.
In his video, Reddit user scvolts shows why: Complete without any warning or incoming damage the player will be knocked out of his shoes as soon as he activates the heartbeat sensor
To be on the safe side that he wasn't knocked out by an enemy sniper or other source of damage, he uses the sensor again after his teammates helped him – with the same result.
The creator of the video is not alone with the problem: In the comment section, other players report that something similar has happened to them. User Bigm1ke theorizes that only the tools that can be found on the map during the game are affected by the critical error:
"It happened to me a few days ago, too. However, it was a sensor that I found on the card. When I bought my loadout, the sensor worked properly."
As long as the cause of the bug has not been clarified, you should use the items in Warzone with caution and, if necessary, have a buddy in the team who can buy you back into life. We'll keep you posted as soon as Infinity Ward developers (hopefully) fix the problem in one of the next patches.
