How cheap are Apple AirPods (Pro) on Black Friday?
The Apple AirPods (current 2nd generation models) are not a cheap investment. Apple usually sells them for around 180 dollars (excluding the wireless charging case). For the higher quality Apple AirPods Pro you have to add 100 dollars.
Fortunately, Apple and other online stores lowered the price during previous Black Friday sales. This year there are again cheap offers for the mini headphones. But how much savings can you expect?

In the test, the active noise cancellation (ANC) of the Apple AirPods Pro quickly turned out to be the market leader. In addition, the in-ears finally have a better fit.

Properties of the Apple AirPods
When buying, you should also make sure that it is the current generation of Apple AirPods, i.e. the 2nd generation. Many retailers do not explicitly list the addition, which is why you should look carefully at the product description. The model numbers will help you here:

Especially with used goods, it can happen that an offer for the Apple AirPods does not refer to a current copy of the 2nd generation, but to the previous model. For music enthusiasts, a purchase is only worthwhile if the prices fall below 80 dollars. But the 1st generation is now rarely offered.
Apple AirPods Max: Different shape, similar functions
An alternative for those who might not like to wear ear plugs are the already mentioned Apple AirPods Max. If you like the over-ear headphones with telescopic arms, ear cushions and a whopping eight microphones, you shouldn’t be long with cheap deals on Black Friday hesitate.
A full eight microphones also offer noise suppression, so that only your music is in the foreground. A transparency mode, 3D audio with dynamic head tracking and Siri assistant are also on board.
The Apple AirPods Pro are not worthwhile for everyone

Everyone is talking about the Apple AirPods Max – we have subjected them to an extensive test and compare them to headphones from Audeze, Bose, Bowers & Wilkins or Sony.
Despite the savings, the purchase is only worthwhile if you really enjoy music, podcasts and other forms of acoustic entertainment on a regular basis. For occasional listening to music, you are well equipped with the Apple AirPods.
Another reason to buy: the ANC function. The noise cancellation is really a quality gain if you are near busy roads or other noisy areas. You hardly notice annoying background noises.
