But on Black Friday they fall rapidly. You can currently secure the Xiaomi 14T with 256 gigabytes (GB) of device and 12 gigabytes of main memory (RAM) for under 500 dollars in the manufacturer’s Black Friday sale.
The Xiaomi 14T in the variant mentioned is priced at 519.90 dollars on Mi.com, Xiaomi’s online shop. If you put the cell phone in your shopping cart, you will receive a further discount of 45 dollars, so you only pay 474.90 dollars. Other providers have also reduced the price of the cell phone to under 500 dollars, but still charge around 15 dollars more than Xiaomi.

What does the Xiaomi 14T have to offer? The Chinese manufacturer counts the model among its premium smartphones. With a recommended retail price of 649.90 dollars, it is the manufacturer’s cheapest model in this segment. Nevertheless, you hardly have to make any compromises compared to the other models.
The Xiaomi 14T offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution and can display images at up to 144 Hertz. Not even the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max can do that. A triple camera from Leica is installed on the back, which consists of a 50 megapixel main sensor and a 50 megapixel telephoto lens for 2x optical magnification and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
We have not yet tested the Xiaomi 14T and therefore cannot give an assessment of the image quality. According to the photography experts at DxOMark, it is currently one of the top 50 camera smartphones. It shows weaknesses According to DXOMark but when shooting in low light conditions.
There is no Qualcomm processor under the hood like in most of Xiaomi’s other top models, but the MediaTek chip Dimensity 8300 Ultra, which is also used in the cheaper mid-range model Poco X6 Pro. It delivers performance at the level of top models from 2023. This will still be sufficient for the vast majority of apps and games in 2024 and probably also in 2025.
The cell phone draws power from a 5,000 milliamp hour battery, which has to be charged from a socket with up to 67 watts. You have to purchase the power supply required for this separately. The Xiaomi 14T does not support wireless charging compared to the 14T Pro.
