Black Friday offer on Amazon: Robotic lawnmower without boundary cable now available for less than 350 dollars

Robotic lawn mowers without boundary wires are more practical, but also significantly more expensive than models without. At Amazon you can now buy corresponding models on Black Friday starting at just 350 dollars.

Mowing the lawn is annoying. Many people are therefore toying with purchasing a robotic lawnmower. But laying boundary wires for these in particular is time-consuming or expensive if you don't do it yourself. Devices without boundary cables are clearly the “more comfortable” option. However, this convenience is a little more expensive – not so with Amazon. The mail order company has reduced the price of various autonomous lawn mowers for Black Friday. The LawnMaster VBRM16 is particularly cheap.

LawnMaster VBRM16

It is currently available for 349 dollars instead of 399 dollars. However, there are fewer high-tech functions to be found here. According to the chaos principle, the LawMaster mows an area of ​​up to 100 square meters. A camera detects hard lawn edges more or less reliably.

The LawMaster is therefore not suitable for larger lawns and areas without a clear border. Other models are recommended here – such as those from Ecovacs.

ECOVACS GOAT G1-800

The Ecovacs Goat G1-1600 cannot function entirely without guidance. When installing, certain transmitter beacons must be placed in the garden. In conjunction with GPS, the G1 can find its way even in difficult terrain. In total it creates an area of ​​1,600 square meters. During the Black Friday campaign you can get it on Amazon for 999 dollars.

However, in our test of the Goat G1 it turned out that winding gardens with large trees need more than the two transmitter beacons supplied. Additional beacons cost 99 dollars each. The Goat G1-800 is currently available on Amazon for 999 dollars, instead of 1,099 dollars. If you have an even larger garden, you can also use the Ecovacs Goat G1-2000, which is also reduced on Amazon and can be used to mow a whole 2,000 square meters of lawn.

Ecovacs Goat GX-600

This GX-600, on the other hand, works without a navigation post and uses the techniques of a vacuum robot. It creates lawns of up to 600 square meters. Similar to the LawnMaster, it detects soil textures and materials to map the boundaries of the lawn. Intelligent path planning ensures a logical cutting pattern. The robotic lawnmower should also recognize and avoid objects and living beings. The Goat GX 600 is currently on offer at Amazon for 899 dollars instead of 1,199 dollars.
