Black State – Preview video of graphically impressive Unreal Engine 5 shooter

When the first video for Black State appeared a few weeks ago, we almost didn’t want to believe it. The supposed mix of Metal Gear and Portal simply looked too good to be true thanks to Unreal Engine 5. And the development studio behind it, Motion Blur, didn’t inspire much confidence right away either. But at gamescom 2024, we saw Black State in real time and also spoke to the creators. And it turns out that the game is real – even if it uses a few very clever tricks.
