Originally teased during a recent campfire chat, Blizzard has now officially detailed a series of Diablo 4 events designed to keep players coming back. All of these events will start later this month, and the offerings are pretty generous.
The developer has also confirmed the return of last year’s holiday-themed Red Cloak Terror event, making a nice addition to the year-end calendar.

start November 19Blizzard is giving all Diablo 4 players a one-time enhancement to any Eternal Realm character they choose. The developers haven’t revealed when this limited-time offer will disappear, but it will allow you to instantly level up a character to level 50, with access to three different builds to choose from (including a fully completed skill tree), and a complete skill tree. A set of legendary items and unlocks all Lilith altars. The boost also includes a treasure chest containing 1 million gold coins, 1,000 Obols, a Scroll of Amnesia, and some crafting materials.
If you have the Hatred Container expansion pack, you can do this with two characters instead of one. Of course, the Eternal Realm is where the characters go after the season ends. This is also where the old pre-season characters live. If you’re not interested in taking part in a seasonal journey, you can always create a new character in the realm.
To get the boost, all you have to do is interact with the Reliquary of Destiny inside the Kyovashad Tavern. Even if your character has reached level 50, you will still receive the remaining boosts.
Adhering to the spirit of dedication, from November 19th to December 2ndanyone who doesn’t already own the Vessel of Hate expansion will have the opportunity to try out the new Spiritborn class and advance it to level 25. However, this trial is only available to PC players on Battle.net.
If/when you later purchase the expansion, all progress made during the trial will carry over to the expansion. The Spiritborn is already one of the most powerful classes in Diablo 4, boasting many devastating builds, and currently absolutely dominates the Diablo 4 endgame.
The rest of the calendar is made up of events that all players can enjoy. The Red Cloak Terror returns, via November 19th to December 3rd
Gileon’s Brew, the consumable elixir first introduced in last year’s iteration of the event, is also back. Now more powerful than ever; it lasts for 30 minutes and increases all damage dealt to enemies by 20%, causes enemies to drop additional herbs and crafting materials, and increases XP gained by 15%. If you’re lucky, you may even find it when opening the Gift of Torment in Hell’s Tides.
You can kick off the festivities by visiting the Midwinter Square in Kivashad. Doing so will also provide you with a one-time gift.
Finally, the non-double experience point event “Mother’s Blessing” in “Diablo 4” will also be November 19th to November 26th. As always, everyone in both realms and all world levels will earn XP and gold at an exponentially higher rate. Rewards also stack with Elixir and Urn of Invasion for Seasonal Journeys
Of course, that’s not all that’s going to happen in the coming weeks for Diablo 4. A new Campfire Chat livestream is scheduled to take place next week (November 21st) detailing the game’s upcoming 2.1 PTR, which begins next week.
While we won’t see the results of the PTR until the start of Season 7 in late January, we expect it to continue to be discussed until we say goodbye to 2024.
