We ourselves don’t believe in any major innovations regarding Bloodborne. But for the sake of coping, we’ll always take up the latest rumors, twists and turns surrounding the From Software masterpiece. In today’s article, a false label is making fans’ hearts beat faster.
When asked about a version of Bloodborne on the PlayStation 5, most fans of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s works will surely answer with a jubilant “YES”. But From Software and/or Sony simply don’t want to give us a new version of the action role-playing game.

In the past, there have always been rumors, alleged leaks and similar disappointments for fans. Because so far we have always been disappointed and the only option for the trip to Yharnam is the PlayStation 4 version, which is not exactly technically perfect.
A recent entry in the PlayStation Stars app once again provided unexpected hope. The Bloodborne DLC The Old Hunters appeared there, punishing players with the brutally difficult boss Orphan of Kos. You could buy the expansion for 5,000 points, but of course that didn’t cause any cardiac arrest among fans.

In fact, it was the DLC’s label that made the community freak out. The Old Hunters was listed as a PlayStation 5 title in the PlayStation Stars app! Even though the Reddit community was well aware that this was probably a mistake, fans briefly went crazy.
The label has since been removed, but the daily dose of copium is a must. Only recently, From Software boss Hidetaka Miyazaki said in a roundabout interview that he himself would love to see a PC version of From Software. As he subtly hinted, Sony has its hand on the brand. So there’s nothing left to do but get worked up about the rumors.
