Bloodborne Remaster is becoming a reality and it’s not thanks to Sony

If we don’t have any good news regarding an official remaster of Bloodborne, we can at least count on this quite impressive fan project.

fans of Bloodborne have reason to be excited. The community-driven remaster project continues to take shape and the latest videos show significant improvements. This unofficial project aims to improve the PC gaming experience through emulation. Let us also remember that imitation is forbidden. Nevertheless, it remains interesting to observe.

Notable improvements for the Bloodborne fan remaster

Recently the modder fromsoftserve Shared videos highlighting improvements to the Anti-aliasing and ranged character models. These visual changes provide a much cleaner presentation, especially in large scenes where distant details are now easier to see. If you’re a fan of the original game, these changes bring new clarity and make the environments even more immersive.

A four-hour video was also shared showing advanced areas of the game if you haven’t played it yet Bloodborneit’s best to avoid this video to avoid spoilers. For others, it’s a great demonstration of the progress the modding team has made and the growing potential of PC emulation.

Another strength of this project is its ability to run Bloodborne on modest PC configurations. A recent test conducted by BrutalSamshows the game running on a system equipped with an Intel i5-4440 processor and a GTX 960 graphics card with just 2GB of VRAM. Although stuttering issues persist, the fact that this outdated system is viable cannot be ignored Bloodborne via the ShadPS4 emulator is impressive.

Although it is still too early to say that everything will work smoothly, recent progress shows that it may soon be possible to play Bloodborne on the PC, even with a modest configuration. Hopefully we’ll have official news from Sony about a possible remaster by then.
