Game news BloodRayne Betrayal Fresh Bites: a release date for the bloody remaster
You may have overlooked the information, but the BloodRayne franchise has been planning its return with a rework of one of its works, Betrayal, in a pretty crisp “Fresh Bites” edition. Good news: we finally have a release date.
Founded in 2003, the rather esteemed BloodRayne franchise will have reached its heyday with several games and even a film trilogy before it slowly sinks into a certain silence. But we would be wrong to forget Betrayal, the 2011 opus directed by Wayforward, changes the situation quite a bit as it was a 2D action game with a remarkable dark and bloody style., with some obviously good ideas.
Against all odds, it is this very same game that is the subject of a remaster under the control of Ziggurat Interactive that bought the series some time ago – and quite attentively: we’re talking about a definition in 4K, a meticulously retouched difficulty and even a completely new synchronization always included … Laura Bailey and Troy Baker. Iconic dubbing actors who are reviving their roles as Rayen, half vampire, half human heroine and Kagan. In order to refine the experience, this “Fresh Bites” edition will also correct some errors that were present in the original version.
In short, all of this to say that this remaster has finally given itself a release date and for that we can thank youeShop from Nintendo, which just sold the wick: BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites will therefore be released on September 9th in dematerialized form on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch appear. You have been warned.
