Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is about to welcome a long-awaited new playable character: Zangetsu, hero of the Bloodstained Curse of the Moon prequel. It will arrive accompanied by the Randomizer mode.
If you have already completed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and got the "good ending", you can restart a game by playing the demon hunter Zangetsu. Unlike Miriam, he does not use crystal shards, but simply the power of his sword and some special abilities that consume MP. "Playing Bloodstained as Zangetsu is designed as a different experience with an emphasis on fast combat. Consumables, gear, chests, quests, story cutscenes, and crafting are turned off when you play Zangetsu"
Regarding the Randomizer mode, it is the replacement for the Roguelike mode promised during the campaign Kickstarter
These two free new features will be available on May 7 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, then on Nintendo Switch in late May or early June.
