Boba Fett is alive! The legendary Star Wars universe bounty hunter is slated to appear in season 2 of The Mandalorian, scheduled for Disney + in October 2020. Apparently, none other than the Jango fat actor Temuera Morrison from Episode 2 – Attack of the Clones was cast for the role.

Disney has not yet officially confirmed that Boba Fett will appear in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. The original report comes from the usually extremely well-connected insider magazine TheHollywoodReporter, while Variety has already backed this up by its own sources.
The chances that Temuera Morrison (also known as the father of Aquaman) actually slips into Mandalorian armor again. In the second season, The Mandalorian, Boba Fett is only supposed to play "a small role", which may be related to Ming-Na Wen’s character Fennec Shand, who was believed dead.

Morrison is not playing Boba Fett for the first time
Temuera Morrison should be fans above all as Jango Fett from Episode 2 – Attack of the Clones be known. He also embodied various clone warriors from the Star Wars universe, such as Commander Cody in Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith.
Since Boba Fett is not Jango's son per se, but "only" a clone of the bounty hunter, Temuera Morrison fits into the role like a fist to the eye.
With season 2 of The Mandalorian, Morrison appeared for the first time as Boba in front of the camera, but he already played Jango's son as a voice actor – among other things in the Star Wars: Battlefront games from 2004 as well as 2015 and 2017.
Captain Rex in The Mandalorian: what are the chances?
