One of the most important launches that will take place next year will be that of PlayStation VR2, Sony’s new virtual reality device for PS5. So far, a few video games have been revealed that will accompany the glasses from day one, to which two more must be added: Moss and Moss: Book II.
The saga developed by Polyarc will reach its completion along with the device on February 22, 2023. You can even reserve either of the two in the PlayStation online store and thus take advantage of a 10% discount if you are sure that you want to get one of them.
Doug Burton, designer of Polyarc, wanted to talk about what it means to bring these two titles to PlayStation VR2 and the improvements they will have:
Since learning about and getting our hands on the PlayStation VR2 hardware earlier this year, we’ve been experimenting with its new technological features and refining ways to make players feel even more immersed in the world of Moss.
On top of that, the team has been able to implement more visual details into each character and the environments have improved lighting and textures that make them more impressive on PlayStation VR2.
In addition to being more refined versions, they will also take advantage of the control knobs with their haptic vibration and adaptive triggers, in order to feel even more the impacts and the fact of using certain objects or weapons. Along with this, they will use eye tracking when solving the puzzles and at all times the image will be seen at 90 fps in 4K.
