Borderlands 3 players can look forward to raising the level cap later this week and a new in-game event starting next month.
In today ’s Borderlands Show episode, Gearbox discusses the increase in level caps and Borderlands 3 Cartel's Revenge event in the game.
In addition to the "Love, Guns and Tentacles" DLC on March 26, there is another level cap increase. It is now 53 and now it is 57. This will give you 4 additional skill points and equip 2 apex abilities at the same time.
Also this week, you can participate in the ECHOcast Twitch Extension event. For streaming enthusiasts, the new Moxxtail ECHOcast Twitch extension will give you a new way to "participate and support" your favorite streaming media. This new event leverages Twitch's premium currency "Twitch Bits" and allows viewers to "co-produce cocktails" that will enhance the streamer effect after delivery in the game.
In April, you can expect two other free content updates: "Chaos Mode 2.0" and "Cartel's Revenge" seasonal events.
Cartel's revenge brought Maurice back, and he would send Cartel workers across the border. If you reach Maurice's quota, you will be sent to the building in the new location. Once there, get ready for the "fighting boss battle." There will be 3 different factions fighting, and the fighting in the area will change with each exercise.
The event will last six weeks, but can be closed and opened during the event.
In the meantime, you can enjoy DLC guns, Love and Tentacles in Borderlands 3 Season Pass and Super Deluxe Edition.
