Daredevil is eager to break through the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his new series: Born Again. After his successful, but at the same time hellish, stint on Netflix, the Hell’s Kitchen lawyer will return to star in a series after his small appearances in She-Hulk.

But unlike the Netflix series, Born Again will be much more focused on Matt Murdock that in his alter ego. This has been confirmed by Charlie Cox himself through an interview with GQ Few days ago.

“I think because of the number of episodes that they have committed to in this new series, there will be a great influence of the things that happen with Matt Murdock as a lawyer for the court. So we’re very focused on investigating that area of this character and his life. It was one of the areas that we didn’t explore much before. Even my way of speaking is probably really rusty.”

Charlie Cox confirms the Disney effect on Daredevil: Born Again with a change of focus: It will be a more mature but less bloody series

Cox himself commented that this new series was going to be very different from the original version, and that having 18 episodes instead of 13 per season, so they’ll have a lot more time to talk at length about the lawyer instead of the superhero.

Remember that Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere in spring 2024 exclusively on Disney Plus and will once again have many of the actors we already saw in the series produced by Netflix several years ago.
