Bravely Default, Bravely Second, Bravely Third? Not quite. The continuation of the Bravely series by Square Enix was announced during the Game Awards 2019. Bravely Default II was unveiled with a relatively little revealing trailer. The 2020 sequel comes from the same team that has already developed the predecessor Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler. In the role of the hero of light, you explore a different world than that of the first two parts. The classic Japanese role-playing game is once again accompanied by the music of Revo (Sound Horizon / Linked Horizon), who has already composed the soundtrack for Bravely Default.
For Nintendo fans, the Game Awards also offered another reason to be happy. A new, pretty wacky trailer for No More Heroes 3 will probably mislead most until shortly before the end. Suda51's game will be released on Switch in 2020. After a ten-year break, Travis Touchdown faces opponents from space.
In addition, several Nintendo games received the coveted awards during the event. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate won in the Best Fighting Game category, Luigi’s Mansion 3 won the award for Best Family Game and Fire Emblem: Three Houses won awards in the Best Strategy Game and Player’s Voice categories.
