Bjarne Mädel returns as Buba. The charming German actor and comedian brings his legendary character from the Netflix series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) back to life. The Netflix film takes place before the events of the hit series – and has also been given a start date today: “Buba” will be released on the streaming service on August 3, 2022.
In addition, Netflix shows the first pictures from the German production, which you can see in the following picture gallery:

That’s what “Buba” is about
Long before “How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)”, “Buba” tells of a time when Jakob Otto (Bjarne Mädel) had nothing to do with synthetic drugs or teen dealers. Together with his brother Dante (Georg Friedrich), Buba tries to make sure that things don’t go too well for him. Because whenever that’s the case, something terrible happens shortly afterwards. But then he meets tattoo artist Jule (Anita Vulesica) and falls in love…
The first pictures of “Buba” that can be seen above promise a weird German provincial story with a lot of humor and extremely quirky characters. The Netflix film is directed – like “How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)” – by Arne Feldhusen.
