Bunge Microsoft has released a list of new positions, which seems to imply that its next non-destiny IP will be a multiplayer action game, which is still in the early stages of development.
Destiny developer Bungie has released a job advertisement for “Incubating Sandbox Designer” for its new “Multiplayer Action Game Currently Incubating”, which provides some inspiration for the work of developers.
This job list requires that any potential applicant must be “[experienced in] Committed to role-centric action games” and “[familiar] Competitive gaming environment/e-sports”.
In addition, the developer asked if there were potential candidates considering how the team can outperform other things in a competitive game, and prompted candidates to be keen on how to blend the mechanics together to create compelling game moments.
“Do you spend time thinking about how to integrate different game mechanics to create amazing moments of teamwork?” asked the ad. “Are you excited about learning how to make games that are very focused on player intent, the feel of an action game, and readability?”
Of course, it sounds like developers are doing more things like “bleeding edge”, “Overwatch” or “courage”, rather than an experience more like fate.
However, unlike the latter pair of championship titles, the focus here seems to be more on the action than on the shot. Whether this can be linked to the whimsical loot game (probably called “material”) that Bunge previously teased remains to be seen.
We know that Bungie is expanding on a large scale: the developers plan to open a new office in Amsterdam in 2022 as the studio’s publishing and marketing center, and its expanding headquarters in Bellevue, Washington will “support multiple project teams.” , Including the destiny of the future”.
It sounds like this work is related to those mysterious non-fate titles.
