Studio wants to prevent players from feeling like they are missing.

Destiny 2 Developer Bungie is launching a new seasonal challenge for its science fiction shooter.

The studio stated in its blog that this new content will reduce the amount of FOMO players feel about Destiny 2. In the first ten weeks of each season, this new system will bring players 3 to 10 challenges every week. This will push players into multiple modes in the game, including strikes, gambits and cauldrons, as well as seasonal content.

Each account can only be completed once.

Bungie wrote: “Most of the challenges disappeared after the introduction of this season, and everything that was not declared will be lost.”

“After week 10, we will not add any new challenges-this should give everyone a few weeks to clean up unfinished challenges. As long as there are seasonal activities in the game, any rewards unique or seasonal items ( Currency, extinct books, seasonal weapons, etc.) challenges can be completed, but the XP rewards for completing the challenges are only available in this season and are introduced.”

Bunge also said that Crimson Day activities will cease. This is an annual Valentine’s Day event, and the studio thinks it is not good enough.

Finally, the developers said that the new annual trailer will be launched on February 2. This is the end of the hunting season.
