According to Ubisoft, which is currently working on enabling Stadia users to stream their games to PC via Ubisoft Connect. It didn’t specify a timeline for the option, but the company said specifics would be announced at a later date.

Bungie, one of Stadia’s early adopters, is having a conversation in the next step for its players.

Google announced on Thursday, September 29 that it will shut down its Stadia game streaming service in January.

The company said pulling the plug came down to a lack of “traction with users.”

If there’s a silver lining, it’s that Stadia players will get a refund on all hardware purchased through the Google Store. This includes the Stadia Controller, Stadia Founder’s Edition, Stadia Premiere Edition, or the Play and Watch with Google TV Package.

Refunds also apply to all games and add-ons purchased through the Stadia Store. Most refunds will be made by mid-January.

All players will continue to have access to their game library and will be able to play until January 18, 2023.
