The situation on June 27th

8:15 o’clock: Although there have been a few PS5 drops over the past few weeks, things have been relatively quiet around the console. The console was only available sporadically in June, especially online. Amazon, the largest online provider in Germany, only offered the PS5 at the beginning of the month. Despite numerous signs, there was no sale. You may be able to hit the dealer again this Wednesday.

Danger! One of the few permanently available solutions to get a PS5 is currently offered by Media Markt and Saturn. There you get the PS5 in a bundle with a mobile phone tariff.

Media Markt and Saturn, which are also among the largest PS5 distributors in Germany, did not offer the console online at all in June. There were some sales in the branches. This was only the case last Friday. In general, there are signs of a switch from online sales to local sales for the summer. However, a drop in the online shops cannot be ruled out.

The turn of the month is particularly interesting when it comes to PS5 sales. All traders have a chance of dropping. In addition, smaller retailers such as Expert and Medimax have been months overdue. We are therefore keeping an eye on the situation for you and will inform you as soon as there is any news.

Opportunities at four dealers (local)

With retailers such as Media Markt, Saturn, GameStop and Expert, it is currently worth visiting branches near you if you want to buy a PS5. The past few weeks show that Sony’s deliveries were often sold directly in the markets. There has been no online sale there in recent weeks.

Just stop by the nearest branch and speak to the staff. Alternatively, you can call the market beforehand. With Expert you can also be put on a waiting list.

Two other important contact points are Media Markt and Saturn. Although both markets have not held online sales for a month, the console is sold locally in many branches. With a bit of luck, the electronics store near you will still have some in stock. Again, we recommend calling ahead and asking.

Prepare for Amazon sales – this is how it works

by the way: So that you can strike directly at Amazon in the event of an emergency, you should request a Prime Membership to lock. Because the PS5 deals from the mail order company are often exclusively available to Prime customers. A trial membership is sufficient.

Better chances with small traders?

After the PS5 was sold in large numbers at the large dealers, the smaller providers are always interesting. From time to time there is a small drop in the game grotto. Euronics is also considered a hot candidate at the turn of the month.

The PS5 manufacturer Sony also sells the PS5. You have the chance to buy a console in exclusive sales via PlayStation Direct. Sony intends to continue expanding sales via its in-house platform in the future.

So the next exclusive sale could be just around the corner. So register quickly.

More hot drop candidates

The big wave of PS5 sales in recent weeks was also noticeable on platforms such as eBay and the Amazon Marketplace. The offer is currently higher than it has been for a long time. Thus, resellers are forced to lower their prices. However, we advise caution when buying a console this way. Be sure to check the sellers.

Console permanently available from E for SIMPLE

If you really want a PS5 and would like to change your electricity or gas provider anyway, you can get the console from E for SIMPLE. There you will receive it as a bonus for a new contract. Console fare offers consoles

Another way to buy a PS5 directly is console fare. The retailer has the PS5 on offer, but at 999.99 dollars it calls a price that could also come from a scalper on eBay. It is the disc version and the console is sold and shipped by the shop itself.

If a used PS5 is enough for you, you can buy the console from ReBuy. However, the prices there are currently rather unreasonable. Depending on the optical condition, you pay 739 dollars to 799 dollars for the disc version and 719 dollars to 789 dollars for the digital edition. New consoles are currently cheaper on eBay.
