“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” Collected some Easter eggs that could herald the return of a character thought to be gone forever.

There are massive spoilers for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

As detailed by YouTube channel Batman Arkham Videos, throughout Suicide Squad’s Metropolis you can find various calendar pages that appear to contain secret messages. The calendar has twelve pages, one for each month of the year, and all pages have specific dates circled. On the January page, the number 8 is circled, and if you match each circled number on the page to the corresponding letter of the alphabet (the eighth letter is H), you get the phrase: ” He will come back.”

Now, those of you who are die-hard fans of the Arkham universe may be quick to think of Calendar Man, he’s a bit of a C-level Batman villain that you can meet in Arkham City, and in Arkham He had a small cameo role in Tom Knight. That’s a reasonable assumption since the calendar is all he’s got, but on the last page of December, the last number isn’t circled and instead has the bat symbol. This particular page can also be found in Centennial Park, which for those of you who’ve seen the spoilers or gotten that far along, is where Batman meets his creator (i.e. Death). So this seems more likely to point to his return.

Comic books are obviously known for constantly killing and resurrecting characters, so this isn’t the weirdest thing in the world, especially considering the multiverse was introduced in Suicide Squad, including a new take on the Joker. Who knows what will end up happening, this is a live services game so we’ll see if it survives that long. But in the meantime, you can read our full review of the game here Fran left the game feeling like it was limited by the game’s desire to serve as a service, even if it did have a lot of soul.
