An entry in Blizzard’s Battle.net could have already revealed the name of the next Call of Duty part.
Activision has already confirmed that a sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War will be released this year. However, further official information is so far in short supply. Now, however, an entry has appeared in Blizzard’s gaming platform Battle.net that could reveal the name of the new CoD.
The leaker and industry insider Tom Henderson posted a corresponding tweet, which should show a logo and name for the next Call of Duty:
According to Henderson, the name Call of Duty: Slipstream will be featured on Blizzard.net for the upcoming series. In his opinion, the logo would suggest the Second World War as the setting. So far, of course, that’s just a rumor. The official announcement of the game should not be long in coming, because so far new CoD offshoots have appeared in October or November each year.
