In Call of Duty Black Ops 6, two familiar game modes are available after an absence of up to 8 years. You should be able to play these modes again soon.
- The Uplink game mode is set to return for Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
- The mode was last playable in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
- There are also hints about the return of the Prop Hunt game mode.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has various game modes that you probably already know from other titles in the shooter series. These include the zombie mode, in which familiar characters await you.
New hints about additional game modes have now appeared on X (Twitter). According to a post by user CODWarfareForum, Uplink is set to return.
Uplink is a 4v4 mode that was last playable in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (2016). It requires you as a team to capture a ball (“Uplink Satellite”) and bring it to an enemy target point.
Depending on whether you throw the ball into the target or reach the target point together with the ball, you will receive a certain number of points. The team that reaches the required number of points first wins.
Return of Prop Hunt mode
According to a post by X-user BlackOps6Hub The Prop Hunt game mode is also set to return. This information is based on a deleted post by user ForwardLeaks, who leaked the 43 achievements for the game, among other things.
Prop Hunt is a type of hide and seek mode that first appeared in Black Ops 3. You could last play the mode in Black Ops Cold War (2020).
How much do you know about Call of Duty?
When was the very first Call of Duty released?
A team consists of so-called “props” whose job it is to remain undetected. The “props” can disguise themselves as various objects such as barrels, boxes or pieces of furniture and occasionally move.
The other team, consisting of the hunters, must find and eliminate the hidden players. The game ends when all the “props” are found and eliminated or time runs out.
If these game modes do indeed return for Black Ops 6, you’ll potentially also have the option to play Prop Hunt and Uplink in couch co-op. However, due to technical limitations, this feature is only available on certain platforms.
