You would think that a company like Activision would have a solid IT infrastructure. But somehow it always happens that information and data that has no place there ends up being made public. This has now happened with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Every year, Activision launches a new Call of Duty, this year it is the somewhat bland title Black Ops 6. The title is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

If you really don’t want to be spoiled, you should be on high alert. Once again, information has found its way onto the internet that has no place there. The latest leaks show maps, perks and even content from Warzone. The Twitter account @betterthanalaix claims to have obtained them from the backend of the new Call of Duty.
The post on the social media platform has since been deleted, but you know how the internet works. On Reddit you can still find the information that the development team wanted to present at a CODNext event on August 28, 2024.
There is a big spoiler warning below, so read on at your own risk!

Furthermore, the vertical selection menus return and you can add popular classics as well as some new features to your loadout. There is talk of stim shots with wound healing and sprint charging, stun and flash grenades, a proximity alarm, frag grenades, Semtex, thermal grenades, booby traps and a battle axe.
The Field Upgrade gives you an Assault Pack that supplies allies with ammunition and equipment. There is also a trap that spreads nerve gas, a mini-turret that destroys enemy projectiles, and an item that makes you appear as a member of the enemy team.
As always, this information should be treated with caution, even if it does not seem completely far-fetched. We will ultimately know more on August 28, 2024.
