A German Hollywood star known from “Game of Thrones” will also be heard as a voice actor in the German version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Activision is also bringing out the big guns in the German version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and has, among other things, secured the services of a renowned Hollywood actor from Germany as a voice actor. The actor Tom Wlaschiha, known from “Game of Thrones” among others, will voice the role of Felix Neumann in the new shooter.
Neumann is an important character in the campaign of this year’s shooter as an ex-Stasi man and is voiced by Wlaschiha in the German-language game version. He says about his work for Activision himself: “Voicing the role of Felix was very exciting for me. He is a complex character who shows several sides over the course of the game that players won’t expect. You only have his voice to breathe life into the character – that’s a wonderful challenge and gave me a lot of joy.”
Black Ops 6’s campaign takes you to the early 1990s. The fictional story takes place against the backdrop of the time and takes you into a secret conspiracy in which a dark force has infiltrated the US government. Anyone who stands in the way will be branded a traitor. Nothing is as it seems, and the truth is difficult to fathom amidst intrigue, suspicion and psychological revelations.
As renegades, you accompany Woods and his protégé Troy Marshall, both of whom now work for CIA dealer Jane Harrow – a fearless leader who helps both maintain their relationships within the agency. However, when an operation goes wrong, Woods and Marshall are suspended and forced to go their own way. They must assemble their own team of rogue agents, including Felix Neumann, a technical genius, and Sevati Dumas, a mysterious assassin. The infamous Russell Adler also returns. His affiliation and motivations remain unclear.
Felix Neumann, voiced by Wlaschiha, grew up in East Berlin after the founding of the GDR. He was an excellent athlete, but showed little interest in it, preferring to read books or tinker with his electronics. After compulsory military service, Neumann was recruited and trained by the Stasi. However, after a few years in the ranks of the Stasi, Felix began to regret his collaboration. He began selling state secrets to West Germany and its allies to build a financial cushion, with the plan of eventually fleeing East Germany. After his successful escape to the West, he made a living by supplying Europe’s criminal underworld with his technical expertise and inventions.
