Activison lets you check out selected multiplayer playlists in Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War for free for one week. The publisher is celebrating the start of the first season and the upcoming holidays.
Until December 24th, you can try out selected multiplayer playlists in Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War. Activision gives you the free content in two phases and you can play it on all platforms without owning the full game. You will also receive double weapon XP and in-game experience points from today through Monday, December 21st.
In the first phase, which runs until December 21, you can play the Team Deathmatch, the Domination game mode, 2 vs 2 Gunfights, the Nuketown 24/7 playlist and the Raid the Mall playlist including the two new ones Try maps of the first season.
The second phase begins immediately after this and should last until the end of the free week. In addition to the content of the first phase, you can also play the fun mode Prop Hunt, Combined Arms: Harpoint and Fireteam: Dirty Bomb. In the latter two modes, all cards are available to you.
In order to play on the PlayStation test, however, you have to download Call of Duty: Warzone beforehand, which unfortunately is quite a bit of data. You can then find the activation symbol in the in-game store. Everything is a little easier on the Xbox, because here you will find the entry for “Black Ops – Cold War: Free Access” in the store. On the PC it is sufficient to click on “try it out for free” in the Battle.net launcher.
