Treyarch is busy working on new content for the current shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War. Two new maps are on the way, including a new zombies map and an absolute classic from earlier days.
Developer Treyarch has now confirmed that the popular zombies mode in the current part of the long-standing shooter series is getting a new card with Firebase Z. This map should be free for all players who have access to the Zombies mode and will be available from February 4, 2021.
Many details about the scenario are not yet known, apart from the fact that it is again a secret research facility. There there is another outbreak of Dark Aether, which naturally leads to countless zombie opponents. Some twists and unique enemy types can also be expected there.
But that’s not all, because fans of classic maps will also get their money’s worth. In the middle of the first season of the game, a Black Ops classic that is loved by fans returns.
What is meant is the express multiplayer card, which is located in a high-tech train station. Teams compete against each other from opposite ends of the station, there is a huge baggage area, two open track sections and more. The map was once part of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops II map offering and quickly became a community favorite.
This map should also be available for free in Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War from February 4, 2021.
