In Reddit, for example, information has surfaced that the Battle Royale mode Call of Duty: Warzone will receive a whopping seven new playlists that go beyond the teams of 3 and the recently added solo mode. Here are the modes listed:
- Battle Royale Duos – team mode for two players
- Battle Royale Quads – team mode for four players
- Battle Royale High Action – faster inflowing gas
- Battle Royale Shotty Snipers – only shotguns, snipers and no loadout drops
- Battle Royale One Shot – One-shot headshots, no loadout drops
- Realism Battle Royale – probably similar to realism difficulty
- Hardcore Battle Royale – reduced health, limited HUD, friendly fire
Various in-game files in turn provide references to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, which has already been speculated by appearing in various rating boards. If so, an Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle seems to be included with different skins, blueprints and cosmetic items.
There are also some leaks regarding the content of Season 3. For example, two classic maps are to be given a remake, namely Backlot from Call of Duty 4 and Village from Modern Warfare 3.
