Activision is currently releasing trailer after trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It’s actually not bad, but the new live-action trailer is a bit bizarre.
Activision Blizzard is busy promoting the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on October 28th. Trailer after trailer is currently appearing, including the launch trailer and a trailer for the PC version of the game. Now another trailer has surfaced – star-studded and quite whimsical.
Accordingly, the trailer named “Squad Up” does not show any gameplay scenes, but a whole series of stars who are heating up for the release of the game worldwide, so to speak. Activision Blizzard has apparently paid a lot for it, with members including Nicki Minaj, Pete Davidson, Lil Baby, Lando Norris, Kane Brown, Bukayo Saka, Jalen Ramsey, David Long Jr. and Faze Clan’s Nuke Squad on board.
The campaign launched on October 9th during the Los Angeles Rams vs. Dallas Cowboys game at SoFi Stadium on the Infinity Screen, the largest videoboard in the sport, and on FOX during the game’s broadcast. However, the live-action trailer, which is intended as a TV commercial, is not well received by all fans … “Cringe” is the most polite expression used in the numerous negative comments. But see for yourself:
