Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 reinvents the Battle Pass and comes with its price

With Call of Duty Warzone 2 only a few hours left until release, Infinity Ward’s shooter presents its brand new version of the Battle Pass.

Like multiplayer map packs once upon a time, the Battle Pass has become a companion to a large number of current games. This system, which generally opts for a free and a paid version, has almost as many fans as it has critics. In any case, it is particularly profitable and the heart of many competitive games. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will not miss it.

Each sector contains multiple rewards that players can progressively select through tokens they can win as they play, the Battle Token Tier Skip (or BTTS).

Instead of an automatic development, from now on players decide which sector they want to spend their tokens in before moving on to one of the adjacent fields. Note that it will be necessary to unlock the main rewards of each sector in order to be able to move on to the next. And in case of full mastery of the map, you will unlock a bonus sector filled with rare cosmetics.

Infinity Ward also tells us that no less than 100 tokens are required to unlock the entire new Battle Pass. In addition, even if you unlock all the rewards, you can still earn additional tokens, which can then be used for subsequent seasons.
