The Remaster of Call of Duty knew how to convince and enjoyed great popularity among shooter fans. No wonder that there has been speculation about a new edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for a long time.
A leaker had previously emphasized, among other things, that the 10-year-old game will receive a remaster. Many gamers considered this to be likely, after Modern Warfare as part of the Infinite Warfare bundle had previously appeared in an optimized form in 2016 and the Modern Warfare 2 campaign in 2020. The rumor said: The remake of Modern Warfare 3 should now follow in 2021.
Now expressed himself opposite Charlie Intel Activision on the topic and emphasizes: It’s all nonsense! There is nothing to a remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. A spokesman for the company said specifically: “A remaster of Modern Warfare 3, both the campaign and the multiplayer, does not exist. All reports that claim otherwise are incorrect.”
The statement leaves little room for interpretation, so we will have to put up with the fact that a remake of Modern Warfare 3 will probably not appear for the time being. Fans of this part of the shooter series will probably have to resort to the original, published jointly by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games in 2011.
