Call of Duty: Modern Warfare shows what Season 3 brings in new features
The contents of the third season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are finally officially known. From a total of three new cards, a new Battle Royale mode to an additional operator and additional weapons, there is a whole truckload of content.
The trailer embedded above gives you a first overview of the content with some Gamma scenes. The team also said how it will continue throughout the season. With this announcement we have updated our FAQ and added all new information:

The update not only delivers content for the main program itself, but also the free Battle Royale mode Warzone, which has enjoyed high numbers of players since its release. At this point we list all new content:
- Warzone Battle-Royal expands: In »Quad« mode you compete with a team of four players. The loot pool will also be changed further.
- Multiplayer Cards: At the start of the new season there are three new 6v6 maps with Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill and Aniyah Incursion.
- More characters: Battle Pass buyers get an additional operator with Alex.
- Weapons with special features: The Renetti is a new pistol, while the SKS is another sniper rifle.
- Cosmetics also for vehicles: There are not only new skins for the operators, but for the first time also for the vehicles in the game.
What's next?
The content mentioned so far is only the content that you can play at the beginning of Season 3. However, more will follow in the coming months. The roadmap Activision also announced.
- Two more operators: With Ronin and Iskra two additional operators will come during the season.
- Two maps: The multiplayer Hardhat card and the Gunfight card Aisle 9 are planned for the near future.
- More game modes: Gun Game Reloaded and Reinfected Ground War are two more game modes.
- An unknown weapon: There will also be a third new weapon. However, the team does not yet say which one it is.
- Warzone updates: "Scopes and Scatter Guns" is a new mode in which you can only use shotguns and sniper rifles. However, that will not be the only change.
Currently, the developer is also giving away ten levels, which normally cost around 15 euros. If you haven't redeemed them in the course of Season 2, you can do so together with the new Season 3.
