Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 isn’t all about adding new maps and operators. Indeed, the latter is amplified by an update called Reloaded which offers players the opportunity to participate in new events to enjoy many new rewards.
Of August 28 to September 7 Next, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to tackle new challenges with the arrival of the summer games. The latter offer aspiring soldiers the opportunity to represent their country in various challenges that are accessible, but difficult to master. Indeed, in these skill tests (speed and precision tests), players will have to prove their effectiveness in combat to win new rewards.
The schedule of events
Trial One: Gun Course – The Gun Course begins on August 28th and offers players the opportunity to shoot down numerous targets as quickly as possible, while avoiding civilian casualties. The times to beat are 1 minute 30 for the bronze medal, 1 minute for the silver medal and 40 seconds for the gold medal.
Trial Two: Price’s Alley – The Price’s Alley event begins on August 29, 2020. It offers to do the biggest combo possible with a handgun to achieve the highest score. The gold medal is obtained with a minimum score of 6000 points.
Trial Three: Risky Parkour – This third event begins on August 30 and offers players the opportunity to participate in parkour phases. The objective is of course to reach the finish line as quickly as possible, without touching the ground. The times to beat are 55 seconds for the bronze medal, 47 for the silver medal and 40 for the gold medal.
Trial Four: Shooting Range – The Shooting Range challenge launches on August 31 and once again offers to take up arms to eliminate the targets in the area as quickly as possible. Be careful, your ammunition is limited. The times to beat are 50 seconds for the bronze medal, 40 for the silver medal and 30 for the gold medal.
Trial Five: Marksman Challenge Starts – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s fifth and final Summer Games event begins September 1. It offers players to work on their precision in order to achieve the best possible score. The gold medal is obtained by achieving a score of 4400 points.
Obviously, the more medals players get, the more they will be rewarded with new cosmetics such as vehicle skins, horns, weapon blueprints or even business cards. Also note that it is possible to unlock the Games of Summer Cup charm by simply participating in one of its events.
The Season 5 Reloaded update which is now available not only adds the summer trials but also offers some welcome new features like the FiNN LMG machine gun, a new operator, a reduced size map for Gunfight mode and a tournament for this same mode. The Gunfight mode tournament is, like the Battle Royale Warzone, accessible to all. It offers players to compete against each other to unlock high level cosmetic rewards.
Reloaded also features a brand new game mode named King Slayer for Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as an additional variant for Ground War mode. King Slayer mode therefore offers many teams to compete again on the map of Warzone, except that this time, the rules have changed. Indeed, in this variant of the Battle Royale the gas circle is not reduced, but moves from one area to another like Hyper Scape, Ubisoft’s Battle Royale. King Slayer, as the name suggests, also adds a little extra peculiarity: the best player of the first five teams will be noted as “King” on the card. Killing a king allows players to get extra points as well as a free killstreak.
The Ground War variant, on the other hand, offers players to secure three flags located in the center of the map. But be careful, here, when your avatar is shot, it does not reappear, you must wait for your teammates to secure a new flag to join the game again. To win a round, you just need to eliminate all opposing soldiers or secure all three flags.
