Today is update day again in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone and once again the developers have come up with a few innovations in addition to the new playlist.

Today's update comes in two parts, so to speak, at least for the owners of the full version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In addition to the normal patch, you have to download a data pack if you want to have access to multiplayer, special ops or campaigns. Warzone is not affected.
In addition to the return of the playlist "Shoot the Ship" there is a new feature with Gunsmith Customs. The update allows you to mix blueprints of parts / attachments of a weapon to create epic hybrid blueprints with unique looks and properties. A new weapon is also moving into the arsenal, namely the MK9 Bruen LMG, which you can obtain via a store bundle or via a challenge.
Added to this is the Pyromaniac bundle, which contains a Firestarter skin for Krueger, a legendary blueprint for the caldera, a finishing move and flaming throwing knives. The Fireclaw III bundle in turn contains the legendary "By the toe" SMG along with skins. You can also get Obsidian Camo for your weapons.
At the weekend there are also double XP points with Double XP, Double Weapon XP and Double Battle Pass Tier Progression. Have fun.
