Cheaters should soon be annoyed in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone green and blue. Because Activision’s team RICOCHET decided to give cheats their own medicine. The latest anti-cheat measure introduced is called “cloaking” and it severely impacts the gaming experience of those trying to gain an unfair advantage. Because “cloaking” prevents cheaters from seeing other players in the game world. But the tool goes even further.
“Characters, bullets, even sounds of honest players cannot be perceived by cheaters,” says an official Blog-Post. However, all other affected players can see clearly while struggling not to be aware of what is happening around them.
In addition, it has now been noted how cheaters are affecting global leaderboards. Therefore, from now on, the entries of players who were banned but managed to sneak their way into the leaderboards will be deleted.
