Last Stand, the fifth and final season Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzonewhich arrived on August 24th, is full of content.
A Call of Duty villain is ordered by crime lord Raul Menendez for revenge. You can choose a side in the Heroes & Villains community event, defend or destroy the crater in Operation: The Last Call, deploy to two new multiplayer maps, and return to Egypt in a new turn-based zombie experience.
For this event, you’ll choose between Raul Menendez, Khaled Al-Asad, Gabriel T. Rorke, and He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen.
Last Stand will also primarily update all three gaming experiences. In Warzone, Caldera’s Peak will find you wreaking havoc or defending the island from destruction. You can enjoy two new fast-paced maps, Decapitation and Bastion, in multiplayer. Continue the dark Aether saga in Zombies and take on the undead Kortifex in Vanguard’s turn-based finale, The Archon.
exist war zone, volcanic activity occurs at the summit of the crater. Avoid lava flowing under your feet and watch out for lava. There’s also a new volcano-themed gulag inspired by “Old Favorites,” and you can look forward to new sky and lighting updates for the Crater and Rebirth Island.
There will be an apocalyptic station where you’ll need to defend your position to get cosmetic rewards and in-game items like Supply Crate Drones, Personal Supply Crate, and Wrath Serum. Finally, you need to decide whether to defend or destroy the crater in the limited-time mode “Operation: The Last Call”.
Inspired by Search and Destroy, this mode will display results based on your matches. You’ll also choose your faction in the Heroes vs. Villains community event and receive rewards for participating.
The mid-season update will introduce another limited-time mode, where you’ll deploy to Rebirth Island in Reborn Supreme mode. Here, teams of four use the best weapons and enable respawns to win the best prizes in matches over 15 eliminations.
For Vanguard players, there will be two new maps, Beheaded and Fortress. On takes place inside the head of the Statue of Liberty, in Beheaded, a small post-apocalyptic landscape in New York City. The second map, Fortress, sets you in a desert graveyard with the remains of an old ship.
There will also be a turn-based zombie ending, Archon. It ends with new narrative quests and side quests for Vanguard Zombies on the familiar hunting grounds. You can expect a story revelation from the Dark Aether and a showdown with the undead Korifex.
Five new weapons will also be available this season: the Prototype Energy Rifle EX1, the Lightweight RA 225 SMG, the Valois Revolver, and the BP50 and Lienna 58 Assault Rifles.
As mentioned, the new operators are Raul Menendez, Khaled Al-Asad, Gabriel T. Rorke, and e “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen as part of the Special Operations Task Force Tyrant.
