After more than a year of launch, “Call of Duty: War Zone” finally received unique benefits.
Season 5 will start next week Call of Duty: War Zone, And the Black Ops cold war. This week, Treyarch and Raven revealed what players can expect in the two games.
In the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer game, there is a new double agent mode, a bunch of new maps, new weapons and more. But a new feature in Warzone makes the Season 5 patch one of the most interesting patches in Battle Royale mode-that is the arrival of unique Warzone privileges.
Since Warzone was launched as a sub-mode of modern warfare, it has been using the game’s privilege system. Although Black Ops Cold War’s weapons, accessories and operators have been integrated into Warzone, the privilege system has not changed. Some of these perks have been modified to suit the gameplay in Warzone, but nothing more.
When Raven took over the development of Warzone, the studio promised to change the privilege meta by introducing Warzone-specific privileges, which will force players to reconsider their privilege settings. With the update of Season 5, the first two arrived.
Temper Probably the most powerful because of how it uses armor in the game. When activated, this skill will strengthen the armor plates so that each plate can absorb 75 points of damage instead of 50 points. To be considered fully armored, you only need two boards instead of three. This not only improves survivability, but also speeds up the reloading process in battle, which is a great benefit.
Combat scout It sounds a bit less interesting. When it is equipped, any players you damage will be briefly highlighted in bright orange and signal the other members of the team. You can think of it as an advanced ping feature, although it remains to be seen how powerful the orange outline is and how long it actually lasts.
Warzone will also see some other updates in Season 5. Gulag will be updated again and will now be modeled after the main speedball arena on the Black Ops 2 map Rush, which can also be used in the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer game. The Verdansk map itself has also undergone some changes, the most prominent being the new mobile radio station, which is related to the story of the season. Coupled with the abnormal behavior of the Red Gate, it led to the mid-season incident.
Activision Blizzard is currently dealing with the consequences of a major lawsuit filed with California due to widespread harassment. So far, Blizzard’s president and head of human resources has been removed. In a statement against the lawsuit, CEO Bobby Kotick said that those responsible will be held accountable, although many employees believe this ignores their demands.
After the lawsuit, Activision was sued by shareholders for allegedly concealing the investigation that led to the lawsuit, and many sponsors are withdrawing from the Overwatch and Call of Duty leagues. Many people in the group’s various studios formed an alliance and asked the company’s leaders to take practical action.
