Call of Duty: Warzone, or rather the Xbox Series X, has apparently got a small update, which gives the Battle Royale game a lot of legs.
As Digital Foundry found out, the Xbox Series X has apparently received a powerful performance boost in Call of Duty: Warzone. After a quiet update, the game now runs on the new Microsoft console with a whopping 100 to 120 frames per second. The game has now finally received the 120fps label in the Microsoft Store. It is noticeable that the update was neither announced nor that the performance boost appeared in the Warzone patch notes.
PS5 owners can pout in this regard for the time being, because as Digital Foundry found out on the basis of tests, the PS5 has not yet been updated. As usual, the game “only” runs at 60 frames per second on the Sony console. A statement from Activision or Infinity Ward is still pending, but will certainly come. The preference for the Xbox Series X sounds unusual considering the fact that both consoles have a similar performance and Activision has provided quite a few exclusive features for the PlayStation in the case of Call of Duty.
