The new map in Call of Duty: Warzone was also leaked in advance and reveals the comeback of numerous well-known locations.
There are currently a lot of leaks doing the rounds about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which have revealed, among other things, a number of maps and weapons included in the new shooter. But there is also fresh information about Call of Duty: Warzone from the same source. Via Twitter aka X, the user @betterthanalaix also leaked the map of the Battle Royale spin-off in advance.
There has been a lot of speculation about the new map in the free-to-play spin-off for some time, some of which now seem to be confirmed. The map, internally named Avalon, which is supposed to replace Urzikstan from last year, will bring back numerous well-known locations from the Call of Duty series as POIs.
The locations were now discovered in a leaked video, which reportedly showed an early version of the map, as the textures were not necessarily of high quality. The map image had to be removed from X for copyright reasons, but that only makes the leak even more credible. And: The leaked locations are of course still known. So you can look forward to the following comebacks of individual areas from the shooter series in Call of Duty: Warzone:
- Hacienda – Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
- Dig – Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- Hazard – Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Outskirts – Call of Duty: World at War
- Detour – Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- WMD – Call of Duty: Black Ops
Fans were particularly excited about the return of Outskirts from Call of Duty: World at War. Previous rumors had already said that the nostalgia factor would be particularly high on the new Warzone map – and that’s exactly what seems to be happening now.
