Hey you. Have you complained lately that Helldivers 2 needs more bug fixes? Well, if you’re one of the people who have been vocal in calling for Arrowhead to stop releasing new content until all lingering issues are resolved, then that’s not going to happen. However, the studio’s CEO has promised that they are aiming to do a better job of both.

If you’re unaware, while Democracy Explosion War Bonds has recently made its way into the game, along with some new ship module upgrades, there are still a ton of bugs and issues as people have been trying to enjoy their new gaming stuff. From fire damage being a little too, uh, damaging, to one of the latest armor sets originally coming with the wrong passive, Arrow has been trying to fix a few issues, but, for better or worse, that hasn’t stopped some players from becoming frustrated.

CEO Johan Pilestedt has occasionally appeared in Reddit threads (thanks to GamesRadar) to discuss reactions to Arrowhead’s recent work on the game, and he unsurprisingly dismissed suggestions from some of the more vocal critics within the player base that the work The room should be temporarily diverted to just focus on resolving the list of issues currently being worked on before rolling out more new War Bonds and updates.

In response, the CEO said: “We want to offer the best products in the industry, and we are aligning our efforts to fix things with new stuff. It’s easy to say ‘just fix it, don’t add it,’ but the reality of competitiveness in this industry is that we You have to do both to stay relevant.

“We’re solving this problem, the demands and expectations on the studio are high, all eyes are on us and we have one singular goal – to make this the best live game you’ve ever played. We just have to find Our pace and balance,” he continued, “is a hot topic in the studio and I’m sorry for the sloppy mistakes we’ve made recently.”

He also touched on Sony potentially influencing how many new titles the studio releases and how often it does so, something players have been discussing. “Arrowhead is independently owned by studio staff and is not influenced by shareholders in the traditional sense,” Pilestedt emphasized. “Of course we have a good partnership with Sony and we agree on what we want to achieve etc., but there are no mandatory features or requirements per se.”

So, calm down. The fixes and/or overhauls you want will come, even if they haven’t yet, which is annoying.
