Need more fighting games to add to your collection? Capcom Fighting Collection 2 should satisfy your needs.
At today’s Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced a new Fighting Game Collection to add more underrated classic fighting games to your growing collection. There are eight games in the collection, including: Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER, Project Justice, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, and Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein. These games are definitely more geared toward hardcore fighting game fans, but Capcom’s commitment to preserving its back catalog is still commendable.
As with previous series, there’ll be a museum where you can view tons of artwork and behind-the-scenes footage from various gaming histories, which is always a neat feature of Capcom’s remakes. You’ll also be able to view frame data if you really want to play around with it in training mode, and you can save mid-game to get up to speed quickly. Best of all, yes, there’s rollback netcode – for all you non-fighting game fans out there, this actually means you’ll have a smooth experience playing these games online (and you can do that in ranked matches, too, if you want).

Fans of Marvel and Capcom will also be happy to hear that the upcoming installment in the arcade classic series will finally be released digitally on September 12, with the physical version following on November 22. Essentially, fans of Capcom’s fighting games are sure to be obsessed with a variety of titles next year.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s expected to be released sometime in 2025, so keep an eye out for it.
