The
Capcom looks forward to a very successful fiscal year.
As part of CapcomIn the publisher's fiscal year 2020 earnings display (PDF), the company talked about the plan for fiscal year 2021, which began in April and continued until the end of March 2021.
By the end of this fiscal year, Capcom is expected to sell 28 million units, which is a significant increase over the past three years. It will achieve this through 13 new SKUs and continue to sell its rear catalog.
Of course, Resident Evil 3 was the first major version of this fiscal year, so three SKUs were eliminated, and we have ten left. If we assume that all of its games will be launched on multiple platforms, then between now and the end of March will probably release three to four games.
"Resident Evil 8" is obviously a big rumor, the publisher may sit on a new fighting game. Then came Dead Rising and other smaller franchises. Dead Rising is closely related to Xbox, so a new version may be released together with Xbox Series X.
Capcom's release does not imply which series these games belong to, just that they are "main games", but the publisher's sales expectations convince us that they will become large games.
