The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power brings back legendary character in new trailer
We are familiar with cases of review bombing, especially on Steam & Co., but also in the film industry there are always targeted downvote campaigns to drive down the rating of a film or series.
So up-to-date with The Rings of Power, the current Lord of the Rings series on Amazon: Like The Hollywood Reporter reportsthe large-scale production with a budget of over 100 million dollars per season is faced with a flood of negative user ratings.

- What actions is Amazon taking? The user ratings for the series on Prime Video have been temporarily switched off so that no ratings can be given by viewers. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Amazon apparently wants to ensure that tempers can cool down first and that ratings are given based on the actual content. It is to be expected that the ratings will develop positively again after the review bombing wave, it is said.
Interestingly, even though the site is owned by Amazon, IMDB ratings have not been turned off. Rings of Power currently has a user score of 6.6 out of 10 stars there.
