The CD Projekt Group has now announced the purchase of the US-based developer The Molasses Flood. This was founded in 2014 in Boston by former developers of well-known titles such as BioShock or Halo. Since then, they have made a name for themselves above all with the indie pearls The Flame in the Flood and Drake Hollow.
Commenting on the acquisition, Adam Kicinski, President and Joint CEO of CD Projekt, said: “We are always looking for teams that make games with heart. The studio will keep its current identity, but will work closely with CD Projekt RED. However, there will be no merging of existing development teams in the course of the purchase.
