Charizard, Copperajah, Dururalud and Garbodor are currently appearing in Pokemon Sword and Shield raid battles

Players of Pokemon Sword and Shield can fight in the new Max Raid Battles.

As the wild arena event ends, Pokemon sword and shield Players have other new Max Raid Battles that look forward to starting today.

This month's battle will run until April 27 and feature a version-specific Pokémon.

Participating in these battles will give you the opportunity to catch the Gigantamax variants of Charizard, Copperajah, Dururaludon and Garbodor.

Because the battle is for a specific version, Gigantamax Charizard and Garbodor can only be captured in Sword, while Copperajah and Duraludon can be captured in Shield.

If you want to capture all variants (thanks, Siliconera), you must work online with a player who has the appropriate version of the game.

Last month's Max Raid Battles included Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Mewtwo.

Further afield, players of Sword and Shield will bring the mysterious dark / grass Pokemon Zarude to the game.

It is unclear when the Pokemon will appear. But in Japan, those who have previously purchased tickets to watch the new movie "Pokemon Movie: Cocoa" will receive a password for the creature next to Shiny Celebi.

The movie is scheduled to be released in Japanese theaters on July 10.
